mjm383 Posted January 4, 2021 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2021 Hi, i have used xpenology years ago but was given a DS215J and has been fine until i upgraded to a 4k tv, plays 4k content a bit stuttery ar times though but is only 2 drives. I have a nas using windows 10 but am not too happy with it my nas is MSI Z390 pro with an i3 8100 (coffe lake graphics) with 16GB ram and 4x4TB & 4x3TB drives. I also have an EVO m.2 128GB on USB 3.1 adaptor (for using xpenology) I want to be able to use the drives and watch 4K mkv movies, my questions are Is my set up okay? What DSM would be best suited foir this amout of drives & 4K files ? Thank you in advance

Do not see the last 3 lines and for some reason am unable to see the NAS on my network. I have gone through the process several times even with different images and USB drives with no luck. Even tried with / without hard drives. My system is motherboard MSI Z390-A-Pro Intel Core i3 1800 (1151/Quad Core/3.60GHz/6MB/Coffee Lake/65W/Graphics) Have today ordered a dual Lan Adapter with Dual Realtek 8111G Chipset hoping this will do the trick.
