You cannot connect to the system because the disk is full

Question

Hi all,

I no longer have access to my xpenology.

It is a server that I use exclusively with an emby docker for reading my library.

I turn it on by WOL and it turns off alone at defined times

DSM 6.2-23739 configure as static address

No problem yesterday, I was able to turn it on and do what I needed, so it naturally cut off on the schedule.

This morning when switching on, no problem, except that when I wanted to connect to DSM I had an error (You cannot connect to the system because the disk is full.

Please restart the system and try again )

Since no DSM access I turned off and on the server in hard.

Second boot no longer access to the WEB interface (ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED )

Third boot the same I have SSH access but my credentials no longer work, while my user has access.

I think the server is starting correctly because I configured a notification when the server is ready with my EMBY, emby is working but playing a media does not work correctly

Can you help me ? Thank you

if you cant login with telnet/ssh you couls still boot a recovery linux assemble and mount /dev/md0 (system parttion raid1 over all disks)  and look/clean that way

I used your method to connect the system partition to an ubuntu live cd.

By digging a little bit I realize that the system partition (2.4GB) is full. Using the "du -h" command I could see that the "root" folder contains 1.4GB of data. In the end, it is the rclone cache which is in this folder. I deleted it and changed the default configuration of rclone to move the cache to a data folder.
