PhatEd Posted June 19, 2015 Share #1 Posted June 19, 2015 Hi everyone. I've been running DSM 5.0-4493 for a few months now and have successfully managed to update to update 7 with no problems. I am now looking at upgrading to the latest version and I was wondering how possible that is? Do I have to update to 5.1 first, then 5.2? I am currently using nano boot 5.0.3.2 so I gather that I will have to change to XPEnoboot? Any advice would be much appreciated... Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
composer47 Posted June 21, 2015 Share #2 Posted June 21, 2015 I did this upgrade last week. I went straight to 5.2. It said "configuration lost" for me during the Synology Assistant upgrade process. This means you keep your data, but have to setup everything again. I knew this was going to happen so I made sure to backup my packages (Sabnzbd, Sonarr, etc) and mysql databases.
