What is the correct procedure to upgrade from 6.2 to 6.2.2 or later?

Hi,

 

I installed several time the DSM in the past. But I was never able to upgrade it without destroying everything.

Now I am at version 6.2 and I would like to upgrade to 6.2.2- 

What is the correct procedure to do that?

forget about 6.2.2, that will make it more complicated and it also prevents you from having updates

go for 6.2.3 and there is nothing special about it, the drivers you already have with your loader will work with 6.2.3 too

you just install the update  with the webgui in the same way its done on a original synology system, if its a older hardware then it might take longer then the 10 min synology expects, on older hpe microservers it can also be up to 30 min
