Now the install option is marked as default value.

 

You can change the timeout value too, so it boot's a little faster:

No I have some eyes from a friend. the message after clicking to install is post init. What can I do now? The xpe doesn't get an IP..

I only downloaded a xpe-Image of dsm 5.1 and the dsm from xpenology.me and the installation runs. Now I'll clean install dsm 5.2 with xpe 5.2

then next time i don't have to physically touch the flash drive on my bare metal NAS

Yes, you need to check out the dd command in linux. I also made a post about how to flash the DOM on an QNAP (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4606) which will give you the syntax, but you will need to identify the drive yourself.
