Faro Posted March 31, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 31, 2015 Hi, I've searched here & Googled the net & I've come up empty, so I apologize if this has in fact been covered. System health is reporting that my USB boot disk is running out of space: "USBdisk1: Your disk space is running out. Please add or replace disks to expand the storage" Is there anyway to fix this & get System health showing the green "Good" icon again, instead of the the bright orange "Attention!" icon? thomas Posted April 1, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 1, 2015 Find the VID and PID of the usb and modify the isolinux.cfg file with these values and the usb disk won't appear anymore in the DSM.
Faro Posted April 1, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted April 1, 2015 Thanks Thomas. That appears to be working. Considering I had to Google VID & PID and how to modify the isolinux.cfg file (yes I'm a noob), I will reserve judgement for few days.

pluto Posted February 20, 2016 Share #5 Posted February 20, 2016 Hi Guys, I faced same problem as Faro. I was able to get my PID & VID but I can't cope with "modify isolinux.cfg" part. Can you help another noob on that subject? Tried to google it out but no success. EDIT I am not that dumb I found all answers here http://xpenology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5605&p=34608&hilit=syslinux.cfg#p34608
