Mirroring 2 xpenology using high availability?

Recommended Posts

I know the idea is absurbed and not sure if this is the right forum to ask. But I made two vm of xpenology via vmware player. Is there a way to do a peer to peer networking between two VM's? Each vm has already 2 LAN device activated and it will be used for peer to peer connection of two vm in order to serve as the connection for mirroring/high availability. How do enable High availability on these 2 VM? The purpose is for preparation when the time comes I will but two synology machines. Both have the same configuration and model and even the storage are the same. High availabity app is already installed but heartbeat connection shows error. I can see both on the network.
