Badgergrr Posted March 10, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 10, 2015 Hey people. Is it possible to use my server to encode ripped video? I have an i3 3.6ghz haswell which most of the time is doing nothing. I would like to utilize this instead of relying on my laptop for encoding. Is this possible, would I need to establish a VM? something I know very little about. Thanks

dynax Posted March 10, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 10, 2015 Did you try ffmpeg? You'll have to ssh to the NAS and use the command line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
