TerraMaster F2-421

I'm trying to install DSM6.2.2/.3 on a TerraMaster F2-421. However, the kernel does not even seem to start (No output after "Screen will stop updating shortly"). I tried jun's v1.04b and v1.03b. Here's some hardware info:

I don't think I can access the serial port with this system. I'm looking at the HDMI output and I only see grub and the mentioned message.

There's actually four ports on the back. I assumed that the mainboard would contain a switch, since those ports appear to be active with the NAS powered off but the power supply still connected... I re-checked with 1.04b and tried all four ports, but nothing. Or do I have to boot with the cable in each of the ports?

Of course, I also checked the router every time. No lease...
