pehun Posted July 21, 2020 Share #1 Posted July 21, 2020 Hello, I would like a 10 GBe pcie card, witch would be compatible with xpeno stock (without any driver pack). I guess the Synology cards are compatible, but is there any other models? THanks in advance.
DerMoeJoe Posted July 21, 2020 Share #2 Posted July 21, 2020 Intel x520 and the other Variants works with Stock. Gesendet von meinem Mi A3 mit Tapatalk
mervincm Posted July 21, 2020 Share #3 Posted July 21, 2020 (edited) 918+ image worked with an HPE version of the x520 for me. Edited July 21, 2020 by mervincm
flyride Posted July 21, 2020 Share #4 Posted July 21, 2020 Synology does not make their own cards. Intel, Mellanox, Tehuti, Aquantia are all OEMs for Syno 10Gbe. DS3615xs and DS3617xs have native support for these. Understand that there is a base "driver pack" that is part of the loader. DS918+ natively has no 10Gbe card support at all; it's added by the loader. IG-88's extra.lzma adds further hardware support and/or newer drivers.

pehun Posted July 22, 2020 Author Share #6 Posted July 22, 2020 Do these broadcom cards are working out of the box? https://www.ebay.com/itm/133363872120
saretar Posted August 11, 2020 Share #7 Posted August 11, 2020 (edited) I have two of those, and they do work flawlessly, with full speed in iperf 990MB/s, crystaldisk 1230MB/s and raw performance between two nvme's around 1100MB/s.
