As far as i have read, Transmission or no other Torrent client on Xpenology supports proxy. Is there way i can use proxy (sock5/http) for torrents on my Xpenology box. I can setup VPN for the whole machine, but i am concerned if the VPN gets disconnected and then my IP is exposed. Also a VPN would slow down my LAN access to Xpenology. Other concern is privacy of data if connected to a VPN. Would appreciate some advise. I am no pro at this, so maybe i am mis-understanding somethings.
