davurleon Posted January 3, 2015 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2015 Hi I am sorry if this is a silly question, but I am wondering if someone knew if I somehow can autoconvert iso files to mkv in Xpenology?
matthewharmon102 Posted January 7, 2015 Share #2 Posted January 7, 2015 I've not found a way to do this automatically, but I mount the ISO in windows using Daemon Tools lite, then use a DVD ripping tool to create the video file. I don't think I can create MKV but you can create other formats like MP4 and AVI
davurleon Posted February 23, 2015 Author Share #3 Posted February 23, 2015 I know that is a possibility, but I would want the Xpenology box to do it on it's own so I don't need to involve a computer also, is that possible, anyone?
MaZeeT Posted February 23, 2015 Share #4 Posted February 23, 2015 Personal I use the program makeMKV.. You can point it to the iso-file (without mounting the iso)... When makeMKV has read the disk/ISO it will list all the videos it can find (you can configure what it will show in the options), from the list you will be able to pick and choose languages on audio and subtitles... Edit: btw it is quick since it is a direct dump from disk/iso to the mkv container =)
