ZeroSSL changed policy

Recommended Posts

I think the project ZeroSSL is well-known to most of the users who run websites, domains, etc. For simple websites or shared hosting with limitations it was an easy and quick way to receive and install valid SSL certificates, valid for 90 days.

They changed their policy and it looks like they want to quench money.

- You'll have to register a "free account"

- The amount of free 90 days certificates is limited to 3 ("Oh, but we have a pricing plan! Pay 10$ a month and you can create as many 90 days certificates as you want!")

- Free certificates are generated without a domain key which limits it's use

Sad to see...
