Prinz_Protato Posted April 21, 2020 Share #1 Posted April 21, 2020 I'm looking to replace my aging server (2x x5670s) with an AMD ryzen based system as it will be more power efficient. Can xpenology run under this or do I require a Intel CPU. I currently have Juns loader 1.03b running on 6.2 2 update 4, no updates showing for 6.2.3 even on my real synology boxes. I am using The Asus Pro Ws x570 with Ryzen 9 5900X and ECC memory and Do NOT WORK with Xpenology or Free Nas Or or True Nas Ubuntu Server , Rockstor , Just Windows Server , Open Media Vault v5, Unraid . Paolo Estrada Posted March 14, 2022 Share #4 Posted March 14, 2022 I can confirm what user antec said in previous post, same motherboard Asus X570 WS ACE with ryzen 5600X and regular DDR4 memory, only the Realtek lan is detected not the Intel (strange since is i211 and even using extra drivers), diskstation is found through find synology web but no hard drive is detected.
