- Outcome of the update:  SUCCESSFUL

- DSM version prior update: DSM 6.2.2-24922 Update 4

- Loader version and model: Jun's Loader v1.03B 3615XS

- Using custom extra.lzma: No

- Installation type: BAREMETAL - HP Microserver  Gen7 N54L

- Additional comments: MY config uses a separate Intel NIC. I'm curious that this update wasn't automatically offered (as earlier updates) but seeing someone successfully updating manually with identical hardware, I elected to do the same. I would say the reboot took rather longer than earlier updates (or maybe that was me simply being nervous about the outcome ;-) ).

- Comments: I just downloaded DSM 6.23 directly and applied manual update. Then everything finished off perfectly.

I have no fear of updating to the newest DSM on this machine because  it is my guinea pig to the other one of mine which does real job for my work.

* I'm so dumb. I forgot the <dot> in .xpenoboot meant hidden and so didn't find and delete it before the update.

Spoiler

Version: 6.2.3-25423

Important Note

This update has been recalled on May 13, since the search function across the system might fail if you have encrypted shared folder and Synology Universal Search 1.4.1 or earlier on your DSM 6.2.3. The issue has been fixed in 6.2.3-25426. (Updated May 13th)

A new update has been made available. Please report your update in the following thread:
