- Additional comment : Using Migration with a fresh new VM instead of direct upgrade.  Intel E1000 works out-of-the-box, No custom E1000e is needed.  Added "FixSynoboot.sh" startup script to avoid Jun's Loader showing up as mounted USB device inside DSM console.

- Installation type: BAREMETAL - Asrock B250M-HDV / i5 7500T crossflashed Dell Perc H200 to LSI 9211-8i

- Additional comments:  did a rm -rf /usr/lib/modules/update/* just before manually updating to 6.2.3-25423. After reboot, dev/dri is missing (didn't look for smart infos) so I replaced extra and extra2 with the ones included in 0.11 driver extension by mounting synoboot2 through ssh, then did another "rm -rf /usr/lib/modules/update/*" and rebooted. dev/dri is back, smart tests of disks connected to the LSI 9211-8i looks OK too. HW transcoding is working in Video Station and Jellyfin.

@Bjoern @mbaz @htanh034 @Chunga_Changa

All of you seem to be new here. I suggest you read the READ ME topics pinned at the top of this page before posting.

You are being asked the DSM version prior update: and not the update you just applied. If you did a clean/first install then please say it explicitly.

Your post is put on hold until you provide the correct information.  Please contact me via PM and I will edit and release your post.

@valix Next time please post once you have done the actual update instead of saying "pending". This gives me unnecessary work to have to edit members posts.

Thank you
