pmchan Posted July 10, 2020 Share #76 Posted July 10, 2020 (edited) With a J3455 cpu, why did you choose to go for the TS-453A, equipped with a Celeron N3150, instead of the more suitables TS-453Be, TS-453B or even TS-653B? Just asking, I might have missed a point but my J3455M with an extra JMB585 pcie SATA card is doing fine at emulating a TS-653B. longcat Posted July 17, 2020 Share #78 Posted July 17, 2020 Hallo zusammen Hatte versucht ein TS-253Be auf meinem ASrock J3455m nach der Anleitung zu installieren. Nach dieser Meldung hatte ich dann den Reboot gemacht: Create QNAP boot disk successful 如需要请修改mymodel目录下的model文件后,执行 sudo cp -f ./mymodel/* ./initrd/etc/ 再执行 sudo ./re_packing 完成启动盘制作 如不需要请重启系统 Nach dem Reboot startet er dann ja automatisch aber dann bekomme ich leider nur: QNAP Operating System error: file '/boot/bzImage' not found error: you need to load the kernel first. Hat da jemand eine Idee? Vielen Dank

Aber keine Netzwerkverbindung) Mir gehen so langsam die Ideen aus. yabba235 Posted October 6, 2020 Share #89 Posted October 6, 2020 First of all, I am sorry that I write in English, but although my father was German, I do not speak this language. I want to say thanks to everyone involved in porting qts on pc / virtual. I have a question about using qts after vmware - although I tried everything, mounting external usb2 / 3 drives / memory does not work. Dmesg informs me that the device has been connected, but qts cannot see them. I understand what needs to be done to make the disks visible, but what needs to be done to see usb2 / 3 devices? Second thing: only ts1682x works fine under vmware, no other models with fewer disks work properly - can't see disks. That's all for my comments - please give some advice on how to run usb in vmware. Danke.

Bye Edited November 27, 2020 by intrax
