Aigor Posted November 2, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 2, 2014 Hi folks, i'm trying to install a new bare metal xpenology with one n40L with bios modified plus DSM_DS3612xs_4528.PAT downloaded from synology web-site. Write image NanoBoot-5.0.3.1-fat on usb stick with win32diskmanager, it's ok, but when i try to install 4528 the installation stuck at 55% whit no disk activities and installation failed. I decide to try DSM_DS3612xs_4493.pat and the installation goes right but i can't perform any update to DSM_DS3612xs_4528.pat, the "sed method" simply don't work because in / there isn't no autoupdate file to edit, it seems that if i use control panel and transfer new DSM 4528 via web-interface, this pat goes into /tmp folder and in / can see a text file with path of update but update fail Someone has some ideas?
