Kamilos Posted October 20, 2014 #1 Posted October 20, 2014 Hi, please support drivers Wifi and Bluetooth on motheboard? Goto settings DSM synology wifi and error insert usb adapter and wifi. My motherboard it support hardware wifi. It will support on DS version drivers gigabyte? Motheboard Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI (rev. 1.0) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc ... id=4992#sp Thanks and sorry bad english EDIT: DS203air almost same wifi model antenna 2T2R 2,4 Ghz only. My motherboard antenna has same 2T2R 2,4 and 5Ghz It is possible support drivers DS203air export to xpenology DS3612xs? Is it possible or not?
A_M_303 Posted October 31, 2014 #3 Posted October 31, 2014 I'm also interested in this board. Anyone has any experience with it running Xpenology? It's between this one or the Asus H97I-PLUS. I'm finding the dual ethernet appealing on the Gigabyte.

Aigor Posted November 6, 2014 #5 Posted November 6, 2014 I think you have to compile right modules for your hardware, one suggestion could be: boot one live linux on board and check if WIFI are correctly recognized, check modules loaded sign and try to compile same modules on synology kernel
mat3 Posted November 13, 2016 #6 Posted November 13, 2016 Any news on supporting Wifi module for this board in Xpenology ?
Elpee Posted November 13, 2016 #7 Posted November 13, 2016 Anybody used this board and bond those two nic cards Intel and Atheros on DSM 6.0? Wish they're both Intel Nics. On the fence to pull the trigger. Thanks.
polanskiman Posted November 14, 2016 #8 Posted November 14, 2016 (edited) Any news on supporting Wifi module for this board in Xpenology ? No and it wont be officially. It was not supported in 5.2 so I see no reason for it to be supported in 6.0. However, I might get my hands dirty one of these days and have a try in compiling the necessary module. No promises though. Edited November 14, 2016 by Guest

I am using TP-Link TL-SG2216 and you can see how I did it at http://jarvis.pimpmyrig.com/how-to-enab ... 16-switch/

I use a Cisco 200-08 However if are you using Adaptive Load Balancing or Active/Standy then a standard routeur will be enough. Obviously in this scenario there is no speed aggregation but as the options suggests either a load balancing aggregation or a basic active/standby aggregation.

I'm using Netgear Prosafe 24G L2 GSM7224 V2H1 Managed Switch, is that ok to bond? Can't wait to grab it.

It seems your switch is able to aggregate links >>> http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/ ... 8feb10.pdf Look at the Layer 2 Services, there you will see IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation (LACP) as one of the service.
polanskiman Posted November 22, 2016 #14 Posted November 22, 2016 I'm using this board in my build and I still cannot find a way to make the build in Wifi to work. Have you actually tried compiling the modules for the wifi? That board is using an Intel Wireless 7260 network controller.
