I installed virtualbox and DS918 runs well with Jun's 1.04b loader. I was wondering if for this kind of machine it is better to install a DS3617 or since it is virutalized it wouldn't change anything? thanks for the advice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 IG-88 Posted February 1, 2020 Share #2 Posted February 1, 2020 no, will not make a difference in that scenario, main difference is that 3617 supports up to 16 cpu threads/cores and 918+ "only" 8 maybe you will see a difference in 3rd party software packages as the 3615/17 it longer around in some older packages where not renewed to show up on 918+ 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
