Bruce Posted January 30, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2020 hi, I am currently using DSM 6.2 1.04b but, I added hdd on the pcie sata card which is Marvell 88se9230. Does Marvell 88se9230 work fine with dsm 6.2?
IG-88 Posted January 30, 2020 Share #2 Posted January 30, 2020 if the card offer not more then 4 ports then yes (the chip is a 2 lane pcie 2.0 to 4 sata port) its ahci compatible and dsm has build in ahci support, no extra drivers needed

Hope that helps. My 6-port Marvell 88SE9215 sees only 4 at a time. Was there something special you had to do? I am assuming you have the black one that is sold online. Even during POST, it detects max 4. If I switch the cable to other ports, it still sees 4.
