HOWTO:

1.

2.

chmod +x patch.sh

 

3.

./patch.sh

 

 

Done:)

 

If things go wrong simply restore the original file:

./patch.sh -r

I think I have enable transcoding. but somehow it return to false condition. my sister was report his videos are unable to show the thumbnail on moment. the problem is must be transcoding.

 I have re enable transcoding.

 

the question is. How to reconvert the failed videos? I have tried reindexing from control panel > indexing services, but nothing happened

Does not work on: DSM 7.0.1-42218 Update 2

I can't decode AC-3, E-AC-3, Dolby TrueHD and DTS codecs, which is a bit disturbing.

Install with Redpill (DS918+, DSM 7.0.1-42218, with DSM_DS918+_42218.pat file)

write 7.1 42661-1 instead of 7.1 42661-0 at the line 159.
