I can not access to my NAS after the update

sbilge

Question

Hello,

I updated to DSM_DS3617xs_24922 then reboot but I did not connect later (Loader 1.03b for DS3617xs).
I reconfigured USB drive with 3617xs again. Then I reinstalled 1.03b then migrated it. It rebooted then succesfull message but I can not access again.
Last chance I installed ds3615_6.2_1.03b to USB Drive. I choose clean installation: keep my files only (manual file: DSM_DS3615xs_24922.pat). It' s finishing to install with success but I can not find my NAS.

Any idea?

Sincerely,

My HW: HPE ProLiant MicroServer Gen8 Server / Intel Celeron G1610T / 8 GB / HP Ethernet 1 Gb 2-port 332i Adapter / 4x4 TB Raid5 + 80 GB SSD

you need a new driver set for 6.2.2 (you onboard broadcom nic driver is not working atm)

https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/21663-driver-extension-jun-103b104b-for-dsm622-for-3615xs-3617xs-918/

treat it like coming from dsm 6.1 (case 2), create 1.03b 3617 usb, copy the kernel and rd from the dsm 6.2.2 pat file and the new extra.lzma to it and on next reboot it should finish the installation for 6.2.2 by itself

 Thank you for your reply.

The same is valid for the 918+?

I am with the same problem.

Already downloaded the new driver extension for 1.04b, but it not clear for me the part of copying kernel and rd for 918+

Thank you very much IG-88

Well, I just replaced the extra.lzma and extra2.lzma on my terramaster -f4-220 and it is not working.

Any suggestion IG-88? Thank you

PS. Without the hard drives it boot properly but when I added them and manually install the DSM_DS918+_24922, Synology Assistant does not find them

I recovered my NAS today. Finally, I was able to find time.
Thank you very much.

if you are on 6.2.2 now and want to use 6.2.3 then you will need the old extra.lzma that was originally on the 2nd partition (con be copied from the img file by opening it wth 7zip)

the 6.2.2 was special with its drivers, 6.2.3 reverted that change so old drivers are working again
