flyride Posted September 24, 2019 Share #2 Posted September 24, 2019 Shared folders need to be created in the DSM UI. It takes just a few seconds to create each one. It's pretty simple. Is the issue that copying the files to the new shared folders takes time? Because that can be done from the shell very quickly (Linux mv command).

bearcat Posted September 25, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 25, 2019 @AlanAnakin If your "parentfolder" is shared, so should all the subfolders under it be as well. Can you post a screendump, pinpointing your "problem'" ? (it *could* be related to user permissions)
jensmander Posted September 25, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 25, 2019 If you use network drives (T:, X:, Z:, whatever) you can assign subfolders to each network drive. Example: add network drive -> select path \\yournas\sharename\subfolder -> assign drive letter. Or you can use the QuickLink Menu for lnk to the path.
