Hi there,

Anyone had/has the problem, with file browser dialog "loading" forever?

The "virtual media Manager", the Chhoose a virtual optical disk file, and the "Defaul machine folder" dialogs not working.

Virtual machines stopped, and the logs not saying anything. No errors, nor permission issues...

I've tried version 4.3.30 and the "latest", set the user in config.php to root (to avoid permission issues) and nothing.

The machine is a q1900dc-itx board with bare metal xpenology (XPEnoboot_DS3615xs_5.2-5592.2.iso for boot from usb), and DSM_DS3615xs_5592 update 3.

Not worked without updates, and any of the updates.

Any ideas?

I'm out

BTW, nice package, and great idea! Thanks for your work

Thanks in advance!

Cheers dodo - worked for me. Only issue I had was I was coming from a much older version. When I installed your pack I kept on getting an error when I tried to access the web page for virtualbox, but doing a 'Remove' from Package Centre then reinstalling seemed to sort it

Thanks for the update!

I'm having a bit of an issue. Long story short, I had some issues with accessing the UI and saved the state using the CLI. I had to reboot the whole server, shortly after. After it restored, I have had an issue with VM's getting stuck in the "starting" status. I tried reinstalling and even uninstalling and installing an old version. As soon as I reinstall, all my VMs are still there and the two I tried to start up still show "starting" with all other options grayed out except the log, which I can provide on request.

How did you get autoupdate?

I've downloaded the new spk (thanks Dodo!) but not yet install it, I am intrigued to know if it is possible to get Package Centre to autoupdate virtual box etc?

I think that DTech meant that he updated the package without uninstalling the previous version. Since version 5.0.4 this is working, Dodo-dk has done a great job, tha package gets updated and preserves all the settings and VMs.

Regarding the auto update I think you do not want the package center update automatically virtualbox shutting down the running VMs in an uncontrolled fashion.
