Sorry, i don´t know where your Problem is. i don´t have this Problems.

Remove all VM in phpvirtualbox. In phpvirtualbox go on File -> Virtual Media Manager and delete all Harddisks, Optical Disk and Floppy Disk.

Stop VirtualBox and remove the file /root/.config/VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml.

Deinstall VirtualBox and reinstall it.

Make a new Test Virtual Machine and reboot your System.

Dear DoDo

I have real DS1515+.

After update phpVirtualbox, my DS1515+ is still being rebooted.

I can't access DSM webpage. But I received improper shut down message from DS1515+ by e-mail every reboot time.

Before update, I removed old version.

I feel like I need to install DSM, again.....

I installed DSM 5 times to find out problems.

I feel like the update version has a problem about network.

If I start windows 8.1 guset without Network, it works. But with network, the guest OS can not start with error.

Following is the error.

THhere was an eoor obtaining the list of registered virtual machines from VirtualBox. Make sure vboxwebsev is runnning and that t e setting in config.php are correct.

The list of virtual machines will not begin auto-refreshing again until this page is reloaded.

(general communication failure)

I back to old version and then work.

Thank you for your time! Do-Do

More further info ( Using on DSM 5.1 5022-update 3 ):

An error occurred communicating with your vboxwebsrv. No more requests will be sent by phpVirtualBox until the error is corrected and this page is refreshed. The details of this connection error should be displayed in a subsequent dialog box.

Mittel,

I have imported .odf files created with both the previous DSM/Virtualbox versions, as well as .odfs created with VB on Windows. iirc I used odf 2 when exporting.

Andrew

OK thanks a lot!

I am so worried as I use one virtual machine in production at my office. If something goes wrong I would be in big sh##.

So I guess I can go ahead.

Thanks again

Btw, thank you Seba.

Thank you very much for the two versions!!

First I tried a version for "Real Synology" on a XPEnology-System and ran into problems with the network (no DHCP and buggy connections (only 2 from 4 pings come back)). With the version for XPEnology network connections in VMs are working very well.

Here the newest VirtualBox 4.3.26 Version.

I have added a Symlink so the Guest Additions is easy to install from phpvirtualbox:

phpvirtualbox -> click on your VM Machine -> Settings -> Install Guest Additions...

For Xpenology: https://mega.co.nz/#!1IJVib7L!879FmBXPN ... MWWT49ZNmw

For Real Synology: https://mega.co.nz/#!UchiAbxa!QBPIQWWv2 ... J-HNbU6uBc

.....

Thank you very much for the new version!

The update runs straight as you have described. This time I don't even have to clear the browser cache.

I installed a Debian 8 (Jessie) as Test and it works like a charm. Here is how I installed the guest additions:

#connect to vm via ssh and logon as root

#install required packages
apt-get install dkms build-essential linux-headers-$(uname -r)

#in phpVirtualBox click on the vm on "settings" - "Install Guest Additions"
#the first time this gives an error that the automatic update don't work and you have to install the guest additions manually

#mount the iso in the vm
mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/

#install Guest-Tools
bash /mnt/VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

#unmount iso
umount /mnt

Cheers

Balrog

One important hint:

Change immediatly after the installation the "Default Machine Folder" away from "/root/VirtualBox VMs" to an accessible shared folder with enough free space (e.g. "/volume1/VirtualBox_VMs").

In my case the first boot volume runs out of space as the Test-VM under /root/VirtualBox VMs/... uses all available diskspace. The DSM-Partition is only 2.3 GByte big with around 1.7 GByte free space so its not that difficult to eat up all free space.

I must boot with a Linux-Live CD, move the VM-files away from "/root/VirtualBox VMs" (I moved them to a network share) and have to repair a few other important files that get corrupt due to low disk space (e.g. /etc/rc.local has no rights anymore (000) and I have to set it back to 755).

I upgraded the newest VirtualBox 4.3.26 Version, but it still causes "Could not connect to host (http://127.0.0.1:18083)", any idea what does it causes? thanks a lot.
