DS3615xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02b.img loaders

hey guys, just checking in, i found this site by pure chance after I google the synology software that I managed to get running on an old lap top. (XPEnoboot_DS3615xs_5.2-5565.1)

 

So that's what brought me to the site. 

 

However, trying to get the latest image working I just can't seem to do it. 

 

So downloaded

 

DS3615xs 6.1 Jun's Mod V1.02b

opened it up in OSF mount 

found the VID and PID of my USB stick 

added a serial number that I created. 

added mac address of machine that it will run on? or is it mac address of the PC that I'm creating the CFG file for?

 

anyway tried both and i burn the image to the USB and then it loads but it's not found oh my network?

Hi.

 

For the grub.cfg use the Mac of your Server/Pc on which you’ll run Xpenology.

 

The reason why you can’t find your Xpenology on the network is that your Nic isn’t supported. Running Dsm 6.x on very old hardware is generally a bad idea, especially on notebooks.
