The built is working on my Asrock AD2700-ITX. Shutdown works perfectly for NM10 chipset. Still testing for other functions.

Thanks Andy.

It would be great if you could write a walkthrough how to make the driver and compile the built Thanks.

Thank you for this build. It works OK on my board like it did on DSM4.1. I noticed that there are no additional drivers included such as 3Ware 9650se Raid Controller.

Can you please confirm or deny if there is any plan to add support for such HW in the future? I'm asking becouse I would like to use XPEnology for VM's and data storage.

I wouldn't like to copy couple TB of data 2 times if some day there would option to use my 3ware storage controller driver built in XPEnology, which is much faster than SW RAID.

Thank You

Thanks Andy.

Have tried updating the previous vbox installation from Control Panel->DSM Update and selecting the new PAT file, but get an "Unknown error occurs (Error No:21)" error.

Assume it only works on a new install, is that correct?

Test on an HP MediaSmart Server EX475. Works great!

Only "trick" is that you need to put the boot USB stick in the *BOTTOM* USB port for it to boot up. There isn't a VGA port, so you won't be able to see much, but it boots up nicely from USB stick, and allows installation through DS Assistant.

Great little box, with a lot more horsepower than a similar Synology box.

The Resource Monitor does not work and the Error message prompt for File Station....

Have you check the asrock website ?

Due to lack of Intel® 64-bit VGA driver support, this motherboard does not support 64-bit OS

But thats a problem off al D700 ATOM Board´s they don´t have support for 64 bit OS

my Asrock AD2700-ITX can install and boot. However the DSM cannot see any network interface and hence some functions reported error, such as Resources Monitor, FileStation and control Center.

The LAN is Realtek RTL8111E onboard.

Any help?

Atom 2700 belongs to "cedarview" build, so you should use the build for DS1512+/DS1812+/DS2143+ series.

My experience, for running "bromolow" build, at least should use the "Celeron" series CPU.

You can paste your dmesg log on post for reference.

Hi,

Zebble you said you had arrived XPEnology installed on your HP media smart server. Can you explain how you did in detail. I can not do it. After placing my USB key down with the system in the server but react DSA assistant can not find it. Even with a direct connection to the PC can you explain how you did.

Thank you
