Update to 6.2.2 with J5005

Hey, i am using an Asrock j5005 and want to update to 6.2.2, i once tried it, but it failed. Now i wa Ted to give it a try again and See what happens, but nothing happens.

 

I saw a few people posting, that internal Nics doesnt work anymore with 6.2.2, is that true? Do i have to geht a Pcie Nic or something like that or what can i do to get the update to work?

Hi,

I am running Asrock J5005, i followed this to successfully upgraded to 6.2.2, the internal NIC works too, cos i already use the pcie slot for addtional sata slot for more hdd.

Just follow the real3x post.

He suggests to use another Nic or am i missing something? What Nic did you use instead of the onboard one?

I''m using onboard NIC, no issue for me.. What i did was i created a new usb and replace the extra.lzma.

With what did you replace it extra.lzma?

I'm using the 1.04b loader - ds918, i replace the extra.lzma in the loader with the one by real3x.

Did you left extra2.lzma?

Is hw transcoding working for you?

Yes i left it in, my plex media works ,but i can't tell whether its using software or hardware transcode.
