archib75 Posted June 16, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2014 Hello i have 2 motherboards asus p8H77-I and asrock H61M-ITX we have Gigabit LAN Realtek RTL8111E on bord . i have followed the tutorial http://www.xpenology.nl/wake-on-lan/ but not work before in gnoboot it was ok. I have see in forum Try to add the following parameters: rmmod=r8168,r8169_new insmod=r8169 for (Gigabit LAN Realtek RTL8111F(PCI-E) ) but i don't now where i put this line ? can you help me tank's Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
htpcdude Posted June 19, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 19, 2014 Is it possible for you to go back to gnoBoot temporarily just as a test? If you can and WOL is working, then run lspci -v to see which kernal mode driver is being loaded for the NIC. This should tell you which NIC driver you should be using in Nanoboot. insmod this NIC driver and rmmod the other two. Also, have you confirmed that Synology Assistant shows the actual MAC addresses of your units? If not, add to kernel /zImage line mac1=xxxxxxxxxxxx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
