furtech Posted June 18, 2015 Share #26 Posted June 18, 2015 (edited) Hi, here I own a HP N40L running DSM DSM 5.1-5055. I followed ALL the hints on how to enable WOL but it does not work. Niels_J Posted February 14, 2016 Share #27 Posted February 14, 2016 Sorry, nothing new. I have the same problem, and I can't subscribe the thread for later reading, so I guess I have to post a reply.
jyraia Posted April 7, 2016 Share #28 Posted April 7, 2016 Hi, i'm just replying to say this works ok for me. I've just built a 78LMT-S2P + Athlon II + 4GB RAM + 2x500GB @ Raid0 (5400RPM haha), tried that with XPenology 5.2 and after use the Shutdown script and give chmod +x (execution permission), this works and now i can wake-up my NAS from "Synology Assistant". I will buy a Synology 2-or-4 Disk Hardware, they deserve, because the software is impressive and the system is incredible. Thanks.
tamamma Posted March 20, 2017 Share #29 Posted March 20, 2017 Just a question... I'm trying to make wol working but on dsm 6.0.2 i can't find /USR/SYNO/etc/rc.d/ path, on etc there is just a rc.sysv folder. What is the right path where i should put the script? Thank you
