GA-J3455-D3H soft lockup

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm going really crazy with a new xpenology setup.

The mainboard is a GA-J3455-D3H with 8gb ram, nothing special, just 2 sata disks.

The first install where the whole boot procedure works fine, and the strange thing is that the first time worked fine for hours, but after the reboot, the nas won't start again.

The system gets stuck after "Post Init" where I get a lot of

[  188.105540] NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#2 stuck for 41s! [insmod:7137]

Btw, the CPU number changes randomly at each trial.

I've tried everything, but nothing changes. Any suggestion?

This is the log:

Im afraid there's nothing to do right now with your board and the 6.2.2-24922 update, the i915 driver KP, i tried this afternoon, same board, and now i'm downgrading to 6.2.1-23739 and we have to wait for an upgrade of the jun's 1.04B driver.

If you dont mind about HW transcoding you can try the 1.03B loader, not sure if it work but since it doesn't have a i915 driver maybe it does not KP.
