Silver Fang Posted May 3, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 3, 2019 Hi, I have created a shared folder in file station, but if I want to see the pictures from the app DS Photo on my iPad, do I need to add the pictures in Photo station too? Meaning it will be duplicate files and use double of the storage, one in File station and one in Photo station, am I correct or how should I do? 2trill4925 Posted May 5, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 5, 2019 There should be an action to “move” files in DSM as opposed to “copy”. If you’re worried about duplicates you can always overwrite, but I always choose skip to verify each file meets my quality standard. I’m not advanced enough to know if you can run checksums. Silver Fang Posted May 10, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted May 10, 2019 Under the main server name I have the shared folder I created and also the folders that Photo Station, Video Station and Music Station created. /photo /video /music /my shared folder I created I added my pictures to /photo folder, otherwise Photo Station cant read it.
