Just to share the information about this setup. Motherboard has 8 total sata ports all of them working.

 

System is running headless with 16GB of RAM, no gpu attached, CSM has to be enabled in Bios.

 

Using loader for DS3617xs with DSM 6.2.2 working.

 

A fix in the grub.conf is required to avoid the high memory reservation issue.
