pigr8 Posted February 19, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 19, 2019 (edited) Hi all, i wanted to share with others the latest UniFi SDN Controller package, is based on Alexander's work (acmenet), just slighly updated. This runs on all x86 based boxes, in my case is Xpenology latest version 6.2.1-23824 Update 4 (VM). Flotho Posted February 20, 2019 Share #4 Posted February 20, 2019 Yes, Java8 is installed. Get directly an error message, that it's not compatible with my hardware...
ideasman69 Posted February 21, 2019 Share #5 Posted February 21, 2019 why not just use a unifi docker? super easy to auto update (via watchtower) and self contained
rockvegas Posted February 21, 2019 Share #6 Posted February 21, 2019 Same here, seems hardware is not compatible. Xpenology latest version 6.2.1-23824 Update 4 (Baremetal) DS3617xs.
pigr8 Posted February 21, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted February 21, 2019 ok don't know why, i tried 2 vm, my production vm, 2 baremetal and they all worked fine, all based on ds3615xs. maybe it's that, nevermind then! 12 hours ago, ideasman69 said: why not just use a unifi docker? super easy to auto update (via watchtower) and self contained i used docker in the past, i just prefer a standalone spk
bearcat Posted February 21, 2019 Share #8 Posted February 21, 2019 FYI: it seems like the 3617 in general has some problems that you never see with 3615, especially when it comes to DSM 6.2.x

lotusd Posted May 16, 2019 Share #14 Posted May 16, 2019 After I have upgraded my smartfon, cannot enter to the controller from it. I use the same login and password, but any attempt is refused with the message SSO Login Error. Please make sure your credentials are correct and try again. Any idea?
