Byte Posted February 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted February 12, 2019 (edited) Hello, I got a new 4 TB Seagate IronWolf drive and decided to make a fresh reinstall on my old build based on a GA-J3455N-D3H motherboard which ran DSM 6.1 perfectly. I tried using DS3615xs and DS3617xs loaders. The system starts up normally but after the first boot message I'm not able to find it with Synology Assistant. I checked my router settings and it won't show up. Has anybody got an idea why? Edited February 12, 2019 by Byte
IT_Informant Posted February 12, 2019 Share #2 Posted February 12, 2019 (edited) You may want to try another NIC...get it up and running and then pull the card and let the dual onbaord realtek NIC take over. That worked for me...different board but same problem like a lot of folks have. I know the HP NC360T and HP NC364T cards work. The latter is inexpensive at <$30 US on eBay. Just a suggestion. Byte Posted February 13, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted February 13, 2019 Good idea, but I got DS918+ running now, I'll note that for my next build. Thank you
