I've got 2 servers been ordered to get rid of one by the wife lol, question is which one to keep

 

1. Hp microserver gen 8

 

I5 3470t cpu

12gb ps3 12800E ram

Hp nc360t dual nic

This case is smaller takes 5 hdd's

 

2. Asrock j4105m-atx

 

J4105 quad core cpu

8gb DDR4 2400 ram

Hp nc360t dual nic

Dell h310 crossflashed to lsi 9211-8i p20

Fractal node 804 case

This case takes 8 hdd's

 

I intend to run movies of all types from 720p to 4k hdr through plex with plex pass. I can run loader 1.04 with the 4105 but does it offer any advantages over 1.03b. Any advice would be appreciated

For my mind - keep the second. Advantages of 1.04 with 918 DSM is HW transcoding.
