Asrock Q1900M with LSI 9211 -8i card - best configuration?

8GB RAM.

 

I have, in the PCIe slots,

x1

1. a single TP Link ethernet card

x16

2. a LSI 9211 -8i card

 

I would like to now set up the board in such a way that it is able to do

 

1. Esxi on a USB stick

2. xpenology in a VM.

 

If the xpenology does not work, I would change to a Openmediavault VM

 

Anyone here is able to make this work please?

 

My research and lot's of it shows :

1.

Motherboard :  Asrock Q1900M

CPU: J1900

Lan: Realtek Gigabit Lan (internal)

Lan2: (PCIE) Dell H092P INTEL PRO/1000 GT QUAD-PORT

Xpen Version :

Loader: 1.02b (DSM 3615)

Extra: extra3615_v4.8

FYI: The DS3617xs, with DSM 6.1.x works very well on Asrock Q1900-ITX

J1900 with LSI 9211-8i (ST SAS 6T*5) successfully updated to DSM6.2 with 1.03b 3617xs
