Hi I already have an old QNAP ts 269 pro.

 

since I need a NRV solution and i am not 100% satisfied with surveillance station I would like to upgrade to QVR Pro. Unfortunately it's not supported for my QNAP model. Does it make sense to set up a Xpenology NAS (virtualised on my existing server) to get QVR Pro up and running there? I don't want to extra buy a new QNAP and since it would take about 1-1.500 euro.
