Thanks.... I tried again with DS918+ and DS920+ models but keeps rebooting on the "root@arc:opt/arc#" prompt after about 3 seconds.

All BIOS settings seem to be in line with ARC BIOS recommendations.

 

Ironically, DSM 7.1 boots fine.

Tried to capture logs but nothing in them for some reason. Only difference i can see if the Kernal version between the SA6400 model and DS920+. Any suggestions or specific BIOS settings to enable greatly appreciated :-)

Have updated to latest ARC Loader today and magically Virtual Machine Manager VM's starting to work again... phew! Thanks @dj_nsk
