croustx Posted September 11, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2018 Hello guys. it seems Virtual Machine Manager is not working on several configurations because of "memory issues". On those who are able to run it, could you please detail your config ?

As a VM runs Ubuntu 18.04 with LibreNMS - without any issues. Edited September 20, 2018 by LolleQ

jarugut Posted October 19, 2018 Share #5 Posted October 19, 2018 In my experience configurations with AMD the VMM not works, but like LolleQ says on Microserver Gen8 works well (Intel processors).

Hostilian Posted October 19, 2018 Share #7 Posted October 19, 2018 Works fine on... - H87i-plus - j3455-itx - Dell optiplex 9010 - ESXi (various boxes - DL360 g7, i7 3770s and 3770k on P8Z77v-pro) The only time I got memory issues was in ESXi and I simply uninstalled and reinstalled Virtual Machine manager.. You can download and uninstall older versions if that's a worry..

filippo333 Posted April 29, 2019 Share #12 Posted April 29, 2019 Works fine on my config! Only after the latest VMM update (2.3.4-9027). Before this Windows would BSOD in a loop upon booting up the VM, Linux also kernel panic'd. I've not tested Linux yet but Windows 10 1809 installs and runs perfectly. Wasn't able to run CentOS until this was checked.
skepticwr Posted May 17, 2019 Share #14 Posted May 17, 2019 Has anyone experienced an issue with VMM, where it displays Guest has not initialized the display (yet)? Using DS3615xs on 6.2.2 on a Dell PowerEdge T410 server with Intel® Xeon® Processor E5503. Same error under 6.2.1. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. Still get the VMGA issues, but hey... If it ends up installing then I don't care as long as it works
