jobinjv Posted September 8, 2018 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2018 I was trying to upgrade from 6.0.2-8451 to 6.1.7-15284. I run the software on an AMD system. However, the upgrade didnt go well and I am faced with a migration screen. Is there any chance to get it working on 6.1.7 or even to return back to 6.0.
Polanskiman Posted September 9, 2018 Share #2 Posted September 9, 2018 And what exactly is the problem? I don’t see anything wrong in those messages.
jobinjv Posted September 9, 2018 Author Share #3 Posted September 9, 2018 After that it just fails. If I try to migrate of keep files and new settings, it just doesn't go beyond that

jobinjv Posted September 10, 2018 Author Share #5 Posted September 10, 2018 I changed my nic yet, its the same now. I am not able to source any Intel NIC as well. A question, would I be able to get the raid back if I was to change to board and processor and connect back the present disks.

In principle yes. As for you AMD system did you read this in the tutorial I made? On 9/12/2017 at 5:59 PM, Polanskiman said: Note: Jun's loader supports Intel CPUs. For AMD CPUs Jun has stated that the loader needs some work but it has been reported by many users using HP machines that it actually works. The C1E function in the bios (in some HP machines) needs to be deactivated. I am unsure for other motherboards brands therefore if you have an AMD machine that is not an HP you might be out of luck. Try looking in the bios configuration and play around.

Unlucky I should say none of the playing with bios worked in my case. I guess I will have to try moving the RAID on to a MB in the same sequence and have my fingers crossed it will work.
