- Outcome of the installation/update: SUCCESSFUL

- DSM version prior update: Reinstalled DSM 6.2-23739 Update 2 over the top after upgrade failure from 6.1.7

- Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3615xs

- Using custom extra.lzma: NO

- Installation type: BAREMETAL - Gigabyte ga-h97n-wifi

- Additional comments: As previously mentioned. On-board NIC Atheros no longer works after this update. On-board NIC Intel works OK (I have popped in a dual port intel gigabit card to retain link aggregation).

Everything else seems to be working, except for the fact I cannot actually restart or shutdown the NAS. When issuing a restart or shutdown, DSM and all network connectivity is lost, except ICMP still respond pings. NAS is no longer visible on Synology Assist. I am forced to hard shutoff the NAS and power on again to restart.

Overall I required major troubleshooting to get my upgrade from 6.17 to 6.2 to work.

- Additional comments: Clean install with 2x 4TB WD RED drives using SATA:0 and SATA:1 ports.

After the installation, the system rebooted, the countdown started from 10:00. I waited 15 minutes, then I tried to access it from my browser using the static IP address I assigned from my router. Always got request timed out.

- DSM version prior update: DSM 6.1.6-15266-1

- Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3615xs

- Using custom extra.lzma: No

- Installation type: ESXi on HP Microserver G10

- Additional comments: Upgraded from 6.1.x with loader v1.02b to latest 6.2 with v1.03b

Configured system with an extra Sata controller, put Jun's loader on 0:0 and my pass-through disks on SATA 1:X, just to be sure

Set Network card to E1000e prior to upgrade. I could not get the VMNET 3 adapter working after installing Open-VMware Tools, so reverted back to the E1000e type.

I created my own vmdk boot file and add a single HDD.
Vdmk boot on Sata 0 0: 1
HDD on Sata 0 0: 2 - persistent mode

After updating, it was impossible to see the machine on the network.
By changing the network adapter and Mac address everything works ^^
Network Adapter type: E1000e and MAC address in manual and you have to enter the boot file of the Ds3615x.
