Nevermind - it's the BIOS setting for Intel® SpeedStep™. Disabled that, and it's showing full base Ghz speed as it should. I remember reading/seeing something about C-States Control in the past, but in this technical instance, doesn't seem to effect the display of the correct base frequency. Maybe that setting creates an issue(s) in another area. Who knows!

gericb Posted August 24, 2023 Share #383 Posted August 24, 2023 Hello @FOXBI I've been meaning to ask you about this for a while, finally getting around to it. Do you think you might be able to find where this info is encoded, and maybe add it to your wonderful script to update as well? I often use the Synology DS Finder app...here, it still reflects the "default" CPU info, even though your script so perfectly updates the CPU info to what it really is. 😉 Thanks either way!

Unfortunately, I don't think it's possible in the app. There was already a mention at the time of the initial development of the script, so I looked at it. It is not a form of opening a web page in the app, but it is thought to be a separate hard-coded method or a method of importing information within the app itself. Instead, it is applied to the page that can be viewed by going to the DSM mobile menu in the app.

Can you give me your cat /proc/cpuinfo so that it can be reflected in the next update?
