strojo Posted August 16, 2018 Share #1 Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) Any issues with... a) Running 2 or more drive controller cards of the same type/model to increase drive capacity? b) Running 2 or more drive controller cards of different manufacturers/models? My questions are assuming that the controller cards are compatible to begin with--just trying to understand if I can throw a few 8-port cards in to support a 16-bay case (assuming I make the appropriate config changes in the software to get past the 12 drive limit).
