pkpkpk Posted July 19, 2018 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2018 Hello, I've successfully installed xpenology 6.1.4 baremetal on my old Lenovo ThinkPad X220. I'm using Jun's Mod 1.02b as ds3615xs. The current DSM version is DSM 6.1.4-15217 Update 1 and I want to update to https://archive.synology.com/download/DSM/release/6.1.7/15284/DSM_DS3615xs_15284.pat I'm not sure how to really do it. There is tutorial how to migrate from 5.x to 6.x but I have no confidence to simply update from 6.1.4 to 6.1.7, but I'm thinking about 2 ways: 1. Just simply update from DSM Settings GUI and Reboot, 2. Burn Jun's Mod 1.02b on other pendrive, boot from that and there should be some migration wizard? And then just upload 6.1.7 for ds3615xs?
