- DSM version prior update: DSM 6.1.7-15284 Update 2

- Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3615xs

- Using custom extra.lzma: NO

- Installation type: HP Gen8 - ESXi 6.5u2 (build 8935087), CougarPoint in passthrough

- Additional comments: upgraded from 6.1.7-15284 Update 2 (loader 1.02b) to 6.2-23739 Update 2 (loader 1.03b) without a problem, everything went perfect.. loader is a vmdk sata disk, the controller where the disks are physically attached is in passthrough to the VM so that has native control, nothing was lost.

- Outcome of the update: SUCCESSFUL

- DSM version prior update: none - clean install, installed Update 2 successfully after installation

- Loader version and model: JUN'S LOADER v1.03b - DS3617XS

- Using custom extra.lzma: NO

- Installation type: BAREMETAL - MSI B250M BAZOOKA, Pentium G4400T, 2x8GB DDR4 2133, onboard Realtek 8111H Gbit LAN,  LSI 9260-8i with 2x320GB RAID1 & 6x2TB RAID5, 1x onboard S-ATA KINGSTON 120GB SSD for Cache

- Additional comments: REBOOT, OK - After installing Update 2 for DSM 6.2 the network speed of the Realtek 8111H drops to ~10-12MB/s which is equal to 100mbit... I cleaned the installation from all HDDs and started it again. When installing the "initial" PAT file everything regarding to network speeds runs fine, even after several reboots and settings. But as soon as I install Update 2 -> drop to max. 12MB/s... 😥

- Additional comments: Previous attempts to upgrade from 6.1 to 6.2 failed, as all services, including networking, would shutdown a few seconds after logging in to DSM.  Saw other posts mentioning an old .xpenoboot folder in / as the cause, so I deleted that and upgrade worked fine.  I've been running XPenology on this same server for over 3 years now, so I'm not surprised there's a bunch of old crap laying around that could cause these problems.
