This topic is for users to report compatible hardware with loader in use. Please provide the following information:

 

Loader version and type (918+/3615xs/3617xs):

DSM version in use (including critical update):

Using custom modules/ramdisk? If yes which one?:

Hardware details (try being specific without giving long and useless technical details - model version, motherboard and NIC used should suffice):

Hardware details: HP ProLiant ML310e Generation 8 (Gen8) v2 E3-1220 V3, Nic HP Ethernet 1Gb 2-port 332i Adapter,  Storage Controller HP Dynamic Smart Array B120i Controller

 

Hardware Acceleration with Plex is working!

Hardware details:  MB: ASRock H110M-ITX, CPU: Pentium G4560, NIC: Intel I219-V

 

Hardware acceleration in VideoStation causing system reboot after 5 seconds, Plex reboots instantly after playing a video. Interestingly, hwaccel works perfectly for both if there is no display plugged into the motherboard.

Hardware details:  Motherboard:  ASRock H370M-ITX;  NIC:  Intel I219V (working) & Intel I211-AT (not working), G5500T

 

Direct stream original of 1080p and 4K movies (Plex CPU usage ~2%) with a device does HW accl.

Transcode: 1080p (smooth) and 4K movies (stutters) (Plex CPU usage ~90% for both cases)

 

NVMe not recognized

- ASRock H270M-ITX/ac (wifi module deleted)
- Intel Pentium G4560T
- 16GB DDR4 memory

 

Disks:
- 3x 128GB SSD
- 2x 8TB HDD

 

Sadly the NVME ssd is not recognized.

Both (Intel) NICs work.

Transcoding works.

 

Everything was installed without any issue or "modding".

Asus Maximus VIII Gene (latest BIOS 3801)

Intel I7-6700

32GB DDR4@2133

Onboard NIC: Intel I219-V

Disks:

2x2TB WD RED

2x1TB Seagate

2x256SSD SK Hinix

 

Sadly, NVME was not recognized.

Everything is working great.

Transcoding is working without any issues.

Transcode 4k to 1080p works flawless

Transcode 1080p to 1080p flawless

1080p direct stream flawless

4k direct stream flawless.

SN/Mac valid

PhotoStation work perfect

VideoStation/Plex/EMBY  all only can do software transcode (without VAAPI), seens like some issue with igpu driver.

 

hope jun could update the loader soon.

Hi, first time user here:

Baremetal install

Hardware details:  Motherboard:  ASRock J5005-ITX;  NIC:  Realtek 8111H

 valid sn, boards mac

Everything apears to work well. Sytem boots fast and stransferspeeds are around 110MB/s.

have not tested hw transcoding but i assume it wont work

Loader version and type: 1.03b  / 3617XS

DSM version in use (including critical update):  None (kernel crash when booting from loader so I cannot install DSM)

Using custom modules/ramdisk? If yes which one?:  None

Hardware details: Proxmox on Hp Gen8.

 

Problem: 1.03b loader fails to boot (kernel crash) when OVMF (UEFI) bios is selected. It works only when SeaBIOS is selected (which is Proxmox's default but it lacks features).

DSM version in use (including critical update):  try use 6.2 but boot failed to stop updating shortly ,xxxxx   find.syunology.com xxxx   and not find the dsm device ip in Synology Assistant

Using custom modules/ramdisk? If yes which one?:  None

Hardware details: Intel ATOM D2700 CPU with intel d2700mud mainboard

Hardware details :  Stock HP Proliant ML110 Gen 9 with Dell X520-T2 10G network card (Dell Part # 0JM42W)

 

Couple of notes: 

  -   Made sure to change to Legacy Boot (not UEFI)

  -   SATA - AHCI mode

  -   Hard Drives plugged in starting sequentially from SATA-0 port....(not just randomly plugged in...)

  -   Boot from USB Drive.

Platform: ASRock J4105-ITX

Loader: Jun's v1.04b DS918

DSM: DSM 6.2.1-23824 Update 1
LAN: Realtek RTL8111H Gigabit

SATA3: 2x Intel via chipset, 2x ASMedia ASM1061 (hot plugging supported on all ports)

Comments: Uses 16Gb RAM without any problem (although the manual states it only supports 8Gb). First tried a clean install on a seperate disk, could just do it from the web (no pat). After that, I updated my existsing 6.2 installation without any problems.
