Is there any modification in BIOS or Bootloader? appreciate your support. unlikely to be a driver problem if its a realtek 8111/8168 chip, cant remember to have seen cases where the hardware was "to new" as seen with intel nic's or realtek 8125 it its 1.03b loader then is more likely to be a uefi/csm problem where you not only need to have csm active you also need to boot from the usb legacy device instead if usb uefi device, csm i a option and if usb uefi dvice is used the it will boot in uefi its documented here https://xpenology.com/forum/topic/13333-tutorialreference-6x-loaders-and-platforms/ so try 918+ (the board/chipset seem to be haswell aka 4th gen intel) or try loader 1.02b (as seen in the link 1.02b and dsm 6.1 dont habe that uefi/csm-legacy problem)

Al35600 Posted August 22, 2022 Share #110 Posted August 22, 2022 Hello, I run successfully XPENOLOGY DS918+ with this configuration since March 2022 : - Loader version and model (clean install): Jun's Loader v1.04b EFI - Version DSM: tried DSM 6.2.3-25426 - Additional module extra.lzma, extra.2lzma: NO - Hardware: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VII Ranger, RAM 16GB, Intel Core i7-4790k - RAM: 2 x 8Gb DDR3, AMD Radeon HD7950 - Ethernet: internal Intel GBE - 4x4To Ironwolf No particular modification in UEFI. A bit powerful for a NAS, I wanted to test it as my Syno DS414 was full (4x2To 7200RPM Hitachi running since 03/2014) and did't want to replace my disks. It's my old Video/Photo workstation. Actually I'm trying to put my disks in a new AMD setup but have some problems to start (no network at least). Sorry for my approximate English.
