williammar Posted January 25, 2019 Share #54 Posted January 25, 2019 Does this tool support the HP N54L? Did I require to run this tool from N54L with Windows 10?
bearcat Posted January 25, 2019 Share #55 Posted January 25, 2019 @williammar This is a Windows based "tool-box" that can run on any computer running 64 bit Windows. And you only use it to prepare the USB stick that will become your boot-device for your NAS, after that you don't need it.
williammar Posted January 25, 2019 Share #56 Posted January 25, 2019 Million thanks. How big / what size is good enough for the USB drive?

You mean the drive which shall be used as a boot stick? Anything >256MB is suitable. The tool collection is 100MB (V1.4.2 with Rufus). bearcat Posted January 25, 2019 Share #58 Posted January 25, 2019 As I recall, any size from 64 MB (as in MegaByte) will do for the USB bootstick, since the .img file is about 50MB.
powerplyer Posted March 3, 2019 Share #59 Posted March 3, 2019 Is this tools still valid. I am building a new box (Old Xpenology is on 4.x). Look like this guide would be the quickest to build my 6.2 box. If someone can provide a valid link it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Thank You The tool contains all actual download links (Loaders & PAT files) you‘ll need. The download link to mega.nz is valid. For a basic guide take a look at the FAQ section. Polanskiman Posted May 27, 2019 Share #74 Posted May 27, 2019 My point was, not sure of the need to upload the content of your tool as it defies the purpose of having a tool and might confuse people. But as I said up to you 🙂. That's all.
